Todd Blanche Confirmed as US Attorney General

The US Senate has confirmed Todd Blanche, former personal attorney to President Donald Trump, as the new US Attorney General. This decision was made after a vote in the Senate. Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana was the last to vote in favor of Blanche. Republican Senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski voted against the nomination, while all Democratic senators rejected Blanche's candidacy. Cassidy explained his decision by stating that although Blanche is "not perfect
