Driver Caught and Fined for Driving in Reverse on Social Media

Following the sharing of a light commercial vehicle driving in reverse on social media in Mersin, an investigation was launched, resulting in significant consequences for the driver. The study conducted by the Mersin Provincial Police Department identified the driver of the vehicle, which was seen driving in reverse on 34th Street, as M.K. The driver, who was found to have violated traffic rules by driving in reverse, was fined 21,000 lira. Additionally, the driver's license was temporarily seized. The seizure of the driver's license and the imposition of a heavy fine for this act demonstrate the severity of the measures taken against drivers who disregard traffic rules.
