According to the latest research by TÜRK-İŞ, the monthly food expenses for a family of four have reached 36,940 lira, while their total expenses have reached 120,325 lira. The monthly expenses for a single worker have been determined to be 47,758 lira. The results of the poverty and hunger threshold research published by TÜRK-İŞ every month have been announced for July. According to the research, the monthly food expenses for a family of four in Ankara have been calculated as 36,939 lira 87 kuruş, while their total expenses have reached 120,325 lira 30 kuruş. The monthly expenses for a single worker have been determined to be 47,758 lira 39 kuruş. Additionally, according to the 'kitchen inflation' data, the increase in food expenses for a family of four in July was 3.30% compared to the previous month, the 12-month increase rate was 39.85%, and the average annual increase rate was 40.60%. The increase rate for the first seven months of the year was recorded as 22.54%.
