Renowned TV Figure Aziz Üstel Passes Away

Aziz Üstel, a prominent figure in the television world, has passed away. Known for hosting various programs on different TV channels, Aziz Üstel had been undergoing treatment for health issues. He succumbed to multiple organ failure. Born in 1948, Aziz Üstel was educated at the University of California, where he studied broadcasting and international relations. Upon returning to Turkey, he worked as a translator before joining Tercüman and Günaydın newspapers. He later moved to TRT, where he was involved in the translation of notable series such as Star Trek and Mission: Impossible. Üstel was also the host and producer of the program 'Guests of the Night'. As a football commentator and columnist, he was well-known, and he even held a managerial position at Galatasaray Sports Club. Aziz Üstel had authored three books.
