TBMM President Kurtulmuş: Final stage reached in legislation for a terrorism-free Turkey
TBMM President Numan Kurtulmuş spoke at the 'İnebolu İstiklal Madalyası Takdim Töreni' ceremony. Kurtulmuş stated that the legislation process for a terrorism-free Turkey has reached its final stage, emphasizing that the forthcoming law will not be a general amnesty.Regarding the terrorism-free Turkey process, Kurtulmuş noted that the legislation process has reached its conclusion and the law will not be a general amnesty.

The law to be introduced will never be a general amnesty. It will never be a personal amnesty. It will be a temporary and exclusive law for the organization, a law for the dissolved organization. A general amnesty approach will never be introduced in Turkey with this law. The issue is the laying down of arms, the organization's complete dissolution of itself, and the determination and certification that the terrorist organization will no longer exist in practice, and this law will come into effect with this.

With the adoption of this law, the doors to a new era will be fully opened. A brand new era of brotherhood will begin in Turkey. Hopefully, the sounds of guns and bombs will no longer be heard in any mountain or plain of this country. The songs of peace, unity, togetherness, and brotherhood will be sung in every corner of this land.
