New Working Hours for Savings Finance Companies

A new regulation regarding the working hours of savings finance companies has come into effect. The Financial Institutions Union has set the working hours of branches as 09.00-18.00 as of July 1, 2026. Working hours can be extended until 20.00 if necessary, but no customers will be accepted after this time.The decision regarding the working hours of savings finance companies, whose numbers have been increasing rapidly in recent years, has been made. The arrangement, which concerns sector employees who experience problems such as weekend work, night shifts, and overtime due to customer density, has officially determined the working hours of the branches. According to the news from NTV, the Financial Institutions Union has implemented a new working order as of July 1, 2026, in order to provide discipline in the working hours of savings finance companies.According to this, savings finance company branches will provide services between 09.00-18.00. It is possible to extend the work until 20.00 for the management and completion of operational processes. According to the new regulation, the branches will be closed at 20.00 and will not operate in any way. In this context, no customers will be accepted at the branches after 20.00.
