Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Warns: 9 Products Contain Single-Hoofed Animal Meat, Yogurt Contains Gelatin

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has updated its list of counterfeit and adulterated foods as well as foods that pose a risk to health. 34 new products have been added to the list, including 9 products that contain single-hoofed animal meat and one yogurt product that contains gelatin. The Ministry's inspections found single-hoofed animal meat in 9 products, with 5 of these products coming from businesses in Mersin and 4 from Adana. The fact that these products were sold as beef stew and meat wraps is noteworthy. A company's yogurt product was also found to contain gelatin. The updated list also includes products with non-compliant content.
