Bay Nalçakan Wins the 100th Gazi Race
The 100th Gazi Race, one of Turkey's most prestigious horse races, took place at Veliefendi Hipodrome in a vibrant atmosphere. The race was won by Bay Nalçakan, owned by Emrah Nalçakan and ridden by Halis Karataş. Bay Nalçakan achieved victory with a time of 2.29.49. The Gazi Race, held in the name of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk since 1927, holds a significant place in Turkish horse racing. This year, Bay Nalçakan, with jockey Halis Karataş's successful ride, finished first with a time of 2.29.49. The second place was taken by Rabovo, owned by Fedai Kahraman and ridden by Ahmet Çelik, with a time of 2.29.96. Ersele Beyi, owned by Murat Aktaş and ridden by Ercan Çankaya, came in third with a time of 2.30.02. The 100th Gazi Race at Veliefendi Hipodrome saw a record audience participation, with 67,200 spectators following the excitement of the race. The winning horse, Bay Nalçakan, earned its owner 50 million lira. Significant prizes will also be awarded for second, third, and subsequent places. Halis Karataş achieved his 7th victory in the Gazi Race with this win.
