In Antalya, a taxi driver who attempted to scam a tourist by not using the meter has been banned from working at taxi stands. The Antalya Drivers and Automobile Owners Association took action after a video of the incident was shared on social media. Association President Mehmet Ali Alkan stated,

As an association, we informed all taxi stands that the driver will not be allowed to work again. We announced that he will no longer be able to work as a taxi driver.
