Taksim and Sisli Metro Stations and Funicular Line Temporarily Closed

A significant development occurred in Istanbul's transportation services. Metro Istanbul officials announced that the Taksim and Sisli metro stations and the Taksim-Kabatas Funicular Line would be closed due to a governorship decision. Following the decision made by the Istanbul Governorship, the aforementioned lines were closed as of 10:00 until further notice.

As per the Istanbul Governorship's decision, as of 10:00 on Sunday, June 28, until further notice; Our Taksim station on the M2 Yenikapi-Haciosman Metro Line and the F1 Taksim-Kabatas Funicular line will be closed. All entrances and exits of our Sisli station on the M2 line, except for the Kasımpaşa exit, will be closed to passenger use. Our vehicles will continue their journey without stopping at the Taksim station.
