Preparations for the Funeral of Former Leader in Tehran

A grand funeral ceremony is being held in Tehran for Iran's former leader, Ayetullah Ali Hamaney. Following the attack by the US and Israel on February 28, which resulted in Hamaney's death, the streets of Tehran have been adorned with posters and banners depicting the leader and his funeral ceremony.The ceremony, held at the Imam Khomeini Musalla Mosque in Tehran, is attended by Iranian officials, the public, and representatives from many countries. The ceremony began with a recitation of the Quran, followed by a moment of silence. A delegation from Turkey also attended the ceremony.The funeral ceremony for the former leader will continue throughout the day and is expected to be attended by government and parliament heads, foreign ministers, and special representatives from nearly 100 countries.
