Revolution in Athlete Health Reports: Validity Period Extended to 3 Years
The Athlete Health Reports Regulation has been amended to make the process of obtaining health reports faster and easier for athletes. The validity period of athlete health reports has been extended to 3 years. The amendment aims to simplify the process of obtaining health reports for athlete licensing. New practices prioritize the protection of athlete health. Athletes who are found to have health risks or suspicious findings will be referred to a specialist for further evaluation. For athletes participating in low-risk sports, the process of obtaining health reports has been simplified. For example, athletes participating in sports like chess or scouting can complete their licensing process using a health declaration and status certificate via e-Nabız. Athlete health reports will be valid for 3 years unless a control examination is required by a doctor.Additionally, the requirement for athletes with disabilities to obtain a health report for licensing has been removed. Athletes with disabilities can now complete their licensing process using their existing medical board reports. If a change in health status is detected, athlete health reports or health status certificates can be reissued.
