Ministry to Support Woman Who Sought Help Through Social Media Posts

Following a woman's social media posts seeking help after being subjected to violence by her husband in Ankara, the Ministry of Family and Social Services announced that it will provide support to the woman. The Ministry stated that it will offer the woman psychosocial support, guidance, and counseling services and will closely follow the legal process to ensure the perpetrator receives the punishment they deserve.

After the completion of the statement procedures at the police station, our expert teams will provide the victimized woman with psychosocial support, guidance, and counseling services, and all social service mechanisms she needs will be put into effect without delay.
