Arrest Made Over Social Media Post

A person was taken into custody due to a social media post, as part of an investigation conducted by the General Directorate of Security.The Istanbul Security Branch Directorate teams conducted an investigation and determined that an individual had committed the crime of 'insulting the President' with their social media post.The person in question was detained and a decision was made to press charges for 'insulting the President'.
