Social Media Phenomenon Mesut Can Tomay Released Under Judicial Control in Drug Investigation

Social media personality Mesut Can Tomay was released under judicial control after testifying to the prosecutor following his detention in a drug investigation. The Şişli Asayiş Bureau teams took action after receiving a report of a bag found in a residence. Narcotics were found in the bag, and Süleyman Çınar, who came to pick up the bag, was taken into custody. According to Çınar's statement, it was determined that he came to deliver the bag to Mustafa Tolga Özen. Özen, who was taken into custody, claimed that the narcotics belonged to Mesut Can Tomay. Samples were taken from Tomay, Çınar, and Özen at the Forensic Medicine Institute for a drug test. After their procedures at the police station, the three suspects were referred to the court after testifying to the prosecutor and were asked to be released under judicial control for the crime of 'possessing narcotics for personal use'. The court decided to implement judicial control measures for Mesut Can Tomay and the other two suspects.
