Slovak Prime Minister Fico Reiterates No Military Aid to Ukraine

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico stated on a radio program that his country has no reason to provide military aid to Ukraine, emphasizing that such aid would only prolong the conflict.

We will discuss not having the approval authority for new military aid to Ukraine because we did not participate in the military credit provided to Ukraine within the framework of the European Union.

Slovakia has no reason to participate in any military credit to be given to Ukraine. The Slovak delegation to the upcoming NATO summit will be led by President Peter Pellegrini.Previously, the Slovak Prime Minister had announced that his country would not allocate funds from its budget for military aid to Ukraine and would not participate in NATO's new financial aid package to Kiev.
