Slovakia's Prime Minister Fico: We Will Not Join the Coalition of Volunteers
Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico stated that his country will not join the 'Coalition of Volunteers' that supports the conflict in Ukraine and will never do so, emphasizing that such membership would be contrary to Bratislava's peaceful foreign policy.Fico denied allegations that his country had joined the 'Coalition of Volunteers', which were attributed to the French Embassy in Bratislava.

Such participation would be contrary to the essence of our peace-based foreign policy. We have cooperation with Ukraine, but we are conducting it only at the bilateral level.

He also reminded that Slovakia has not provided any military or financial aid to the Kiev administration, with support limited to humanitarian aspects only. The 'Coalition of Volunteers', led by the UK and France, consists of more than 30 countries. The leaders of the member countries signed a declaration in January, indicating their intention to deploy troops to Ukrainian territory after a potential peace agreement.
