Patient Undergoing Treatment for Suspected KKKA in Sivas Passed Away
A 60-year-old man from a village in Tokat's Artova district, engaged in animal husbandry, was bitten by a tick. After becoming ill, the patient was taken to Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Research and Practice Hospital. As his condition worsened, he was referred to Sivas Cumhuriyet University Health Services Practice and Research Hospital and admitted for treatment here. The patient's condition raised suspicions of KKKA, and he was placed under special care in the Anesthesia Intensive Care Unit. However, despite all interventions, the patient could not be saved. This incident, which caused great sorrow among the patient's family, loved ones, and the medical team, once again demonstrated how critical the condition of those undergoing treatment for suspected KKKA can be.
