11 People Detained After Armed Clash: Attempted to Delete Security Footage

An armed clash between two groups in Istanbul resulted in the detention of 11 people. The suspects attempted to delete the footage of the morning clash in the evening. The armed clash in Istanbul's Ümraniye district left one person dead and two injured. Following the incident, 11 people were detained, and it was discovered that the suspects arrived at the scene in a panel van, engaged in an armed clash, and later attempted to delete the security footage in the evening. The Istanbul Police Department's Directorate of Security, Homicide Bureau, conducted an investigation into the armed clash that occurred on June 14 in the Elmalıkent neighborhood. It was found that the two groups had engaged in a mutual armed attack, and some suspects attempted to delete the security camera footage.
