Temperature Records at Risk: Southern Region Nears 45 Degrees

According to weather forecasts, temperatures in the interior and western regions will rise by 3 degrees today. This increase will bring the temperature in the southern regions to the threshold of 45 degrees. The coastal areas of the Middle and Eastern Black Sea, the northeastern part of Eastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Bayburt and Artvin, and the northern parts of Adana and Osmaniye are expected to be rainy and thunderous. According to the weather forecasts of the Meteorology General Directorate, the northern parts and the eastern part of the Mediterranean region will be partly and very cloudy, the coastal areas of the Middle and Eastern Black Sea, the northeastern part of Eastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Bayburt and Artvin, and the northern parts of Adana and Osmaniye will be rainy and thunderous, and other areas will be sunny and clear. It is predicted that the air temperature will rise by 1 to 3 degrees in the interior and western parts, exceed 40 degrees in the south, and not change significantly in other areas.
