Heat Wave: Temperatures Above 40 Degrees in Southern Regions

Temperatures in the southern parts of the country are exceeding 40 degrees, while in other regions, they remain above 30 degrees. Rain showers are expected in Trakya, the Toroslar region of the Mediterranean, the western Black Sea region (excluding Sinop), the interior of the eastern Black Sea region, as well as in Istanbul, Kocaeli, Artvin, Kars, and Ardahan. According to the weather forecast by the Meteorology General Directorate, the rain showers are expected to start in the afternoon and continue until the evening.The high temperatures in the southern regions are expected to continue, with temperatures above 40 degrees in the southeast. In regions that will experience a mostly sunny day, there may be occasional cloudiness and local rain showers.In a statement about the weather, it was noted that along with the rain showers, there may also be thunderstorms.
