Cyberbullying and Extortion Gang Busted: Suspects Targeted Families of Rojin Kabaiş, Hiranur Nilgün Aygar, and Kıvanç Uman

A operation was conducted in Diyarbakır. The cyberbullying and extortion gang that threatened the families of Rojin Kabaiş, Hiranur Nilgün Aygar, and Kıvanç Uman was dismantled. The gang was organized under the code names 'C47' and 'C99'. The Cybercrime Unit of the Provincial Police Department identified a network that created closed groups for cyberbullying, extortion, and harassment on messaging apps like Telegram and other digital platforms. The suspects were found to have targeted the families of Rojin Kabaiş, Hiranur Nilgün Aygar, and Kıvanç Uman, using foreign numbers and illegal panel links for threats and extortion. They were charged with 'threats', 'unlawful acquisition of personal data', and 'theft of state security documents through deception'. In a simultaneous operation across 8 provinces centered in Diyarbakır, 10 suspects were taken into custody. After processing at the police station, 2 of the 10 suspects were arrested, 5 were released under judicial control, and the rest were set free.
