New Rights for Martyr and Veteran Families

The AK Party has prepared a 12-article bill for the rights of martyr and veteran families. The proposal will be submitted to the Turkish Grand National Assembly on Friday. According to the proposal, martyr children will be given honorary status and discounts on public transportation up to the age of 25. Additionally, social support for martyr and veteran families will be increased. The proposal also includes an increase in social support, known as 'tobacco allowance' in public.The arrangement for the employment rights of martyr families is being expanded. Currently, only one child of a martyr can be employed in public institutions, but with the new arrangement, this limitation will be lifted. Thus, the way will be paved for all children of martyrs to be employed in public institutions. A meeting will be held at the AK Party Group Presidency tomorrow to evaluate the final version of the proposal.
