Seferihisar Mayor Ismail Yetiskin Temporarily Removed from Duty

The Ministry of Interior announced that Ismail Yetiskin, the mayor of Seferihisar in Izmir, has been temporarily removed from his duties.It was stated that Yetiskin was detained as part of an investigation and subsequently removed from his position in line with Article 127 of the Constitution and the Municipalities Law No. 5393.In the announcement by the Ministry of Interior, it was emphasized that Yetiskin was being investigated for serious allegations including "bribery, extortion, and establishing a criminal organization".
