Investigation into Alleged Sexual Assault in Şanlıurfa: 14 Suspects Detained

A significant development has occurred in the investigation into an alleged sexual assault that took place on June 16 in the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa.In a statement from the Siverek Governor's Office, it was stated that 20 suspects were detained as part of the investigation into the incident in the rural Canpolat Mahallesi, and that there were no more fugitive suspects.

Under the instruction and coordination of the Siverek Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 20 suspects were caught, 4 suspects were released under judicial control, and 2 suspects were released after their statements were taken. 14 suspects were arrested and sent to prison as part of the investigation.
