Tragedy in Şanlıurfa: Two Young Workers Lose Their Lives in Scaffolding Collapse

A workplace accident occurred in Şanlıurfa's Siverek district. In the Dicle neighborhood, two workers lost their lives when the scaffolding's support cable snapped during painting work on a building's exterior . 18-year-old Muhammed Mustafa Toruntay and 19-year-old Muhammed Kızılkan fell from the fifth floor to the ground. Following the accident, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The two workers, who were seriously injured, were taken to Siverek State Hospital but could not be saved despite the doctors' efforts. After the accident, police teams investigating the scene started working to determine the cause of the cable's failure.
