Son of a Woman Arrested for Beating his Mother with a Stick in Şanlıurfa

A disturbing incident occurred in the Bozova district of Şanlıurfa, where a son allegedly beat his mother with a stick. The suspect was taken into custody and later arrested.The incident took place on August 6th in the Türkmenören Mahallesi neighborhood. 85-year-old İslim Y. was beaten with a stick by her son, İ.Y., for reasons still unknown.The elderly woman is currently undergoing treatment at the Bozova Mehmet Enver Yıldırım State Hospital. The suspect was detained by gendarmerie units and later arrested by the court.
