Artist Haluk Levent Detained

An investigation was launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the allegation that donations collected in the name of the 'Ahbap Derneği' were transferred to the accounts of suspects. While searches were conducted at the addresses of the individuals, Haluk Levent, the founder of the association, and 16 other people were taken into custody.Haluk Levent was detained on charges of 'violation of the Associations Law', 'laundering of assets derived from crime', and 'membership in an organization'. Haluk Levent was detained yesterday due to AHBAP activities. If a serious result comes out of this operation, our trust will be severely shaken. We will experience great disappointment. We will think that our sense of kindness has been exploited. We will be full of the feeling of being deceived. We will feel very bad.
