Explosions in Damascus: Near the Hotel of French President Macron

Two explosions have occurred in the Syrian capital of Damascus, near the Ministry of Tourism building. One of these explosions happened close to the hotel where French President Emmanuel Macron, who is visiting Damascus, is staying.According to local news sources, the explosions were caused by bombs planted in a minibus and a trash container. Multiple ambulances were dispatched to the scene, but there has been no official statement on casualties yet.At the time of the explosion, Macron was meeting with Syrian President Ahmed Shara at the Presidential Palace. This area has experienced terrorist attacks before. On July 2, a bomb attack was carried out at a cafe near the Palace of Justice on the road to Hamidiye Market, resulting in 10 deaths and 21 injuries.
