Operator and Companion Arrested for Throwing Sand at Young People on the Beach

In the Silifke district of Mersin, an operator attempted to forcibly remove young people from the beach by throwing sand at them with a shovel. The incident, recorded on a cell phone and shared on social media, led to an investigation by the Silifke Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.The operator, K.K., and his companion F.S., were taken into custody. Legal proceedings were initiated against the suspects for 'deprivation of liberty' and 'threats'.The young people spending time on the beach in the Atakent district's Susanoğlu Beach had a dispute with K.K., a partner of a cafe.
