Shahane Pazar Returns to the Stage After 22 Years

One of the most iconic Turkish TV shows, Shahane Pazar, is returning to the stage with a revamped format. The show, which was last broadcast in 2004, will now be performed as a theater show.Behzat Uygur, in a statement to the press, announced that Shahane Pazar will be performed on large theater stages and in outdoor amphitheaters, and will later be uploaded to YouTube. Uygur stated that the show will be performed not only in Istanbul but all over Turkey, and that their other plays will continue as well.Behzat Uygur mentioned that they have been receiving many comments on social media about the return of Shahane Pazar.

We have been receiving many comments over the past two months. The last one was 'If you love your country and nation, start with Shahane Pazar,' and I felt a sense of responsibility. Then Süheyl and I thought about it and made a decision. It was something we had been thinking about for years.

Uygur stated that they are preparing with a good production team, and that they will be hosting many guest artists who will participate in the games.

We will have live connections on our LED screen on stage. We can have contestants from all over Turkey and make live connections with our famous guests. We used to play 'Shahane Pazar' for the audience in the studio, not for the camera. Now, we will be playing for a larger audience, and we have many memories to share on stage.

Süheyl Uygur expressed their love for theater and their continuous work despite their busy schedules. Uygur noted that they won't be able to perform some games on the theater stage, but they will play the municipality pit game, balloon game, glass game, and merry-go-round game.
