Minister Memişoğlu Announces Istanbul Earthquake Plan

Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu announced that the 48-hour plan for a potential earthquake in Istanbul is ready. By dividing Istanbul into 10 regions, a special study was conducted, and the healthcare system is ready, emphasized Minister Memişoğlu.

Minister Memişoğlu also provided information about the isolator hospitals, stating that they were established not only for surgical interventions but also as points that can manage the regional healthcare system. The Ministry of Health aims to establish a healthcare system that can manage itself within the first 48 hours of a potential earthquake. The healthcare system is conducting special studies for rapid and effective intervention in disasters.
