Russia's Special Military Operation: Weekly Summary
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian troops, continuing their advance in the special military operation zone, have taken control of another settlement, bringing the total number of liberated settlements in the past week to 11. According to the statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian troops have taken control of the Aleksandrovka settlement in the Dnepropetrovsk region through active and decisive actions. The Ministry, sharing the balance of armed activities over the past week, noted that with Aleksandrovka, the number of settlements under Russian control in the past week has risen to 11. The Ministry reported that the Russian army continues to respond to attacks by Ukrainian forces on civilian facilities in Russia. In the past week, in 1 intense and 5 group bombardments using precision weapons, targets included Ukrainian defense industry enterprises, energy, fuel, and transportation infrastructure facilities that supply the Ukrainian army, Ukrainian army airbases, locations where unmanned attack boats are stored, ammunition and fuel depots, and bases where UAVs are produced, stored, and launched, as well as areas with high concentrations of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries. All designated targets were destroyed. As the Russian army continues to advance along the front, 10,105 Ukrainian military personnel were neutralized, with numerous tanks, 98 armored combat vehicles, 2 fighter jets, and 10 unmanned attack boats destroyed. Additionally, over the past week, 3,871 Ukrainian drones were intercepted.
