Russia's Efforts to Exchange Prisoners: Ukraine Rejects Proposals

While Russia continues its efforts to exchange prisoners with the Kiev regime, Ukraine is rejecting Moscow's proposals. Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova announced that in July, three lists were submitted to the Kiev administration for prisoner exchange, but Ukraine rejected them. Lantratova stated on her social media account that Russia is working systematically and consistently on the exchange process. Lantratova emphasized that, together with the Ministry of Defense and relevant agencies, they regularly send lists of citizens awaiting their return home to the Ukrainian side, but unfortunately, the Kiev administration mostly rejects their proposals. Lantratova noted that Moscow has approved a list of 224 Ukrainians who were sentenced for crimes committed in Russia, and they are ready to hand them over as early as tomorrow morning, in exchange for their own citizens. However, Ukraine is refusing to accept these individuals, indicating that what they need is not human life, but PR.
