Repatriation of the Dead Between Russia and Ukraine in 2025-2026

On July 16, a repatriation of the dead took place between Russia and Ukraine at the Novaya Guta border crossing in the Gomel region of Belarus.Russia handed over the remains of 501 Ukrainian soldiers, while Ukraine returned the bodies of 31 Russian servicemen.
