Russia and China Conduct Joint Air Patrol in the Pacific

Russia and China conducted a joint air patrol over the Japan Sea, East China Sea, and the Pacific Ocean.According to a statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian Tu-95MS strategic missile carriers and Chinese H-6K strategic bombers participated in the joint patrol. The flight lasted approximately 6 hours.During the mission over the Japan Sea, East China Sea, and the western Pacific Ocean, the bombers were accompanied by fighter jets from both countries. Russian Su-30SM and Su-35S, as well as Chinese J-16 fighter jets, provided escort duties.The statement noted that in some sections of the route, Russian and Chinese aircraft were also followed by foreign fighter jets. After completing their mission, all aircraft returned to their bases, with the flights being conducted in full compliance with international law and without violating the airspace of any country.
