Russian Defense Ministry: Kiev Regime Attempted to Launch Combined Attack on Russian Territory

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Kiev regime made an attempt to launch a large-scale combined attack on Russian territory. The attack involved the use of long-range Flamingo cruise missiles, US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, and long-range unmanned aerial vehicles.The Russian Defense Ministry stated that the leader of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelenskiy, aimed to divert the attention of the Ukrainian public and Western supporters from the consequences of the effective strikes carried out by the Russian Armed Forces against military targets and the catastrophic collapse of the Ukrainian army's defense in the Konstantinovka region of the Donetsk People's Republic. However, this attempt was completely thwarted by the decisive actions of the Russian air defense forces.According to the statement on the defense operation carried out on the night and morning of July 4, the Russian air defense systems successfully shot down over 500 air targets. The destroyed targets included 10 long-range Flamingo cruise missiles and 9 US-made HIMARS rockets that were prevented from entering the airspace over the Belgorod region. Additionally, 494 long-range unmanned aerial vehicles were neutralized by air defense units.
