Russian Defense Ministry: Several Settlements in Kharkov and Donetsk Come Under Russian Control

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that four settlements in the Kharkov region and one village in the Donetsk People's Republic have been captured by the Russian army. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have lost more than 540 personnel and a significant amount of equipment. It was reported that the Russian Armed Forces have made progress in the conflict zone in Ukraine. Four settlements in the Kharkov region and one village in the Donetsk People's Republic have come under the control of Russian troops. According to the statement, the Zapad (Western) Military Group units have taken control of the settlements of Shiykovka, Novy Mir, Cherneshchina, and Druzhelubovka in the Kharkov region, capturing more favorable lines and positions. Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 230 soldiers, armored vehicles, 17 trucks and cars, three artillery systems, one RAK-SA-12 multiple rocket launcher, and two electronic warfare stations in one day. The Central Military Group units have improved their tactical position by capturing the village of Vasilevka in the Donetsk People's Republic.
