Russia Offers Humanitarian Pause for Return of Ukrainian Soldiers' Bodies in Konstantinovka
The Russian Ministry of Defense has initiated a humanitarian effort to return the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers who died in Konstantinovka. Russia proposed a humanitarian pause on July 6 for the return of the bodies of Ukrainian Armed Forces members who died in the fighting in Konstantinovka. Moscow called on Kiev to cease attacks on the city from 12:00 to 18:00 on July 6 and to respond to the proposal by 12:00 on July 5. According to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, a humanitarian operation is being prepared to return the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers who died in the city after it was captured by Russian forces. The ministry called on the Ukrainian side to cease bombardment of Konstantinovka from 12:00 to 18:00 on July 6 and expects Kiev's response by 12:00 on July 5.
