Russia Repels Major Attack: 613 of 625 Drones Downed

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Kiev regime launched a massive terrorist attack targeting Russia's civilian infrastructure ahead of the NATO summit. This attack occurred on the night of July 5-6, 2026. The Kiev regime used 625 long-range attack drones in this attack. However, the Russian air defense professionally downed 613 of them. The purpose of the attack was to demonstrate to Ukraine's sponsors that they are ready to strike civilian targets in Russia. The main target of the attack was to paralyze civilian life. The civilian fuel-energy infrastructure and logistics networks in the Leningrad, Bryansk, Belgorod, Yaroslavl, Kaluga, Kursk regions, as well as in Crimea, were directly targeted. The Russian Armed Forces responded to this terrorist act by launching a massive retaliatory strike against military industrial enterprises in Kiev and the Kiev region, as well as against fuel-energy complex facilities associated with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
