Russia Warns Iran: We Reject Attempts to Escalate Tensions

Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Anna Yevstigneyeva, stated that they reject the West's attempts to 'artificially escalate tensions' around Iran. Russia opposes such initiatives and also objects to the use of the UN Security Council as a tool for political reckoning with Tehran.Yevstigneyeva emphasized that Russia is against increasing tensions around the Iranian dossier.
