Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Makes Stunning Statement: European Leadership Surpasses Nazi Germany
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has strongly criticized the European leadership's hostile attitude towards Russia. Zakharova's statements, targeting the European Union and its allies, indicated that Europe has surpassed Nazi Germany in terms of Russophobia. Analyzing the European leadership's stance on Russia, Zakharova stated, 'Today's unified European leadership has, in many respects, surpassed the Third Reich (Nazi Germany) in terms of Russophobia. They are no longer hiding their preparations for a war to inflict a 'strategic defeat' on us, openly declaring their intentions.' Zakharova emphasized that Russia is facing a similar enemy today, just like during World War II, using Ukraine as an example. The Russian diplomat pointed out that the Ukrainian government's military units have adopted Nazi symbols, saying, 'All signs are there; we are literally experiencing déjà vu.' In Russia, June 22 is commemorated as a 'Day of Remembrance and Sorrow.' This date marks the anniversary of the beginning of the devastating war in which Nazi Germany attacked the Soviet Union, resulting in the loss of approximately 27 million Soviet lives, making it one of the country's most tragic turning points.
