Russian Foreign Ministry Responds to Ukrainian General Staff Chief

Grigoriy Lukyantsev, Director of the Department of Humanitarian Cooperation at the Russian Foreign Ministry, described the statements of Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Mikhail Drapaty as . Lukyantsev stated on his Telegram channel that Drapaty’s words once again revealed the Nazi essence of the Kiev regime. The Russian Foreign Ministry called on the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and other international human rights organizations to pay attention to the rhetoric of the Kiev regime and its officials. Drapaty had used extremist language against Russians in an interview published the previous day. He also referred to the residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics as 'unconscious population'. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova described Drapaty’s words as 'a manifestation of neo-Nazism' in a statement to the Russian press.
