Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov: We Will Not Compromise Our Pride Against Western Plans
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Western countries have openly implemented their plans to divide Russia and inflict a strategic defeat. Lavrov emphasized the gravity of the situation, noting that the West's calls for a ceasefire are, in fact, an ultimatum, and that Russia will continue to fight without compromising its pride. In the face of these hostile policies, Lavrov pointed out that the true intention behind Western leaders' rhetoric on 'strategic defeat' and 'decolonization' is to fragment Russia.

We are facing an extremely serious situation that leaves no room for joking. The West has openly taken a confrontational stance against us, supporting subversive activities aimed at dividing Russia and funding fugitives. Our state channels are clearly exposing the West's insidious plans.

Lavrov argued that the propaganda campaign waged through Ukraine does not align with reality, highlighting that the narrative of 'Ukrainian character' being used to defeat Russia is a myth, and that the actual goal is to re-fragment Russia. He also strongly rejected the West's calls for a ceasefire, characterizing this move as an attempt to rescue the puppet regime in Kiev:

What does 'let's stop at the contact line' mean? This is an ultimatum. If we freeze the conflict at the current line, the Nazi regime in Kiev will continue to exist. We cannot allow this.

Lavrov stressed that Russia will never surrender to these pressures, outlining their foreign policy stance as follows:

There is no need to get angry or hysterical. What our foreign policy needs is a 'healthy anger' that will allow us to maintain our determination. The more aggressive the West becomes, the more it should understand that Russia has never compromised and will never compromise its pride and principles.
