Russia Accuses Baltic Countries of Providing Air Corridor for Ukrainian Drones
The Russian Foreign Ministry has accused Latvia and other Baltic countries of providing an air corridor for Ukrainian drones. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin stated that these countries have provided their own air corridors for drones that attack Russia's civilian infrastructure.Galuzin also evaluated Latvia's plans to build a drone factory for Ukraine on the Russian border, calling it an “open provocation”.The Deputy Minister noted that the Baltic countries are pursuing their own interests in this process, seeking to receive a share of the EU's military budget and become a key element in NATO's eastern wing.Galuzin stated that the Baltic countries are actually not “digested” by the Western world, and much harsher expressions are used about these countries in diplomatic circles:

When Westerners talk about them in diplomatic circles, they use expressions such as 'limitrophe' (border states), 'buffer zone', or 'cannon fodder to be sacrificed first'. This situation becomes especially prominent when predicting possible military conflict scenarios with Russia. Historically, it is clear that Western European countries consider them 'alien' and will show no mercy to them.
