Russian Forces Continue Their Advance: Two More Settlements Under Control in Donetsk People’s Republic

According to the latest statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian Armed Forces have taken control of two more settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).The Russian Ministry of Defense shared updates on the developments in the special military operation area in Ukraine and Donbass over the past 24 hours. Units of the Central Military Group, through decisive offensive actions, took control of the Toretskoye settlement in the DPR. In the same region, units of the Southern Military Group also secured control of the Vasyutinskoye settlement through active operations. Over the past 24 hours, Russian Armed Forces have neutralized 1,445 Ukrainian soldiers. Furthermore, in the last day, 17 armored vehicles, including tanks, belonging to the Ukrainian army were destroyed. Russian forces used high-precision land and sea-based weapons, as well as long-range drones, to strike a military airfield and energy and transportation infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the Ukrainian army. Russian air defense forces intercepted 10 guided air bombs and 4 American-made HIMARS multiple launch rockets fired by the Ukrainian army, as well as 970 drones.
