Russian Forces Take Control of Several Settlements in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia

The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that Russian troops have taken control of several settlements in the Donetsk People's Republic and the Zaporizhzhia region. The Ministry of Defense shared updates on the progress of the special military operation in Ukraine and Donbass over the past 24 hours. The 'Southern' Military Group of the Russian army secured control over the settlement of Malinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic, while the 'Eastern' Military Group took control of the settlements of Rovnoye and Lesnoye in the Zaporizhzhia region. The Russian Armed Forces neutralized 1,395 Ukrainian soldiers and destroyed 12 armored vehicles within 24 hours. Additionally, the Russian Black Sea Fleet destroyed 7 unmanned attack boats, and Russian air defense forces intercepted 7 guided air bombs and 806 aircraft-type drones. Russian aircraft, drones, and artillery units also launched attacks on facilities and depots used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
