Russian Military Expert Reveals: Flamingo Missiles are Western-Made

Russian military expert Yuriy Knutov stated that the long-range Flamingo missiles used by the Ukrainian army are actually produced in the West. Knutov explained that the facilities related to the production of these missiles are a priority target for Russia. Russia has attacked the production facilities of Ukraine's hoped-for Flamingo missiles at least twice in the past month. The Russian military expert noted that the Flamingo factories produce cruise missiles with a range of 3,000 kilometers, capable of hitting targets beyond the Ural Mountains.

The assembly plants may be dispersed, and instead of 40 missiles, 10 missiles may be produced at one facility. This increases the number of facilities, making it more difficult to destroy them.

Knutov said that everything is being done to limit the number of such missiles in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, making it easier for air defense forces to shoot them down.

Although they are considered to be of Ukrainian origin, the launch of Flamingo missiles does not require target approval. However, the targets are determined by Americans, French, and now Finns are also providing reconnaissance information.
