Helicopter Carrying Tourists Crashes in Rio de Janeiro, 4 Dead

A helicopter that offered scenic flights for tourists crashed in a wooded area of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, killing all four people on board. The local fire department reported that the victims were the pilot and three passengers, and identification work was still underway. According to Diana Paez, the Colombian Consul in Brazil, it is believed that three of the victims were Colombian tourists. Paez stated that the complete burning of two of the bodies made it difficult for the forensic team to quickly identify the victims. Videos posted on social media showed a fire at the crash site and the arrival of specialized firefighters.
