Putin Addresses Fuel Shortage in Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated, 'We are observing a certain shortage, but it is not critical.' Putin emphasized the need for Russia to accelerate the repair of its fuel and energy complex facilities and initiate imports to overcome the fuel shortage.The Russian leader added, 'All damaged facilities are being repaired quite quickly and are not causing critical problems. Everything is working stably and with increased security.'Putin also announced that Russia would increase its fuel supply to Crimea. 'We will increase these supplies by both land and sea. I am confident that this task will be accomplished,' he said. Putin expressed that Crimea's energy needs would be met.
